Wallpaper Removal Questions
Will removing wallpaper damage my plaster walls?
Not with correct technique. We steam-loosen the paper and use proper removal tools to minimise plaster damage. Any minor damage is repaired before the wall is handed back paint-ready.
Can you paint the walls after wallpaper removal in the same visit?
Often yes — if the wall repair is minor. For significant repairs requiring drying time, a second visit is booked. We'll tell you upfront what to expect.
What if there are multiple layers of old wallpaper?
Multiple layers are common in older Canberra homes. We quote based on what we find and use the right methods for each layer — steam, scoring, and chemical solution as needed.
